Toyota Motor corp. is planning to export its Prius hybrid car to Asian and Australian markets, President Fujio Cho said. The automaker began exporting the Prius, which has both a gasoline engine and an electric motor, to North America and Europe in mid-2000. Sales of the environment friendly vehicle have been strong, prompting Toyota to offer it in other regions abroad.
