An ayurvedic treatment for patients suffering from a type of blood cancer has shown promising results during trials conducted by the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha under the ministry of health and family welfare. According to the cancer research sub-committee of the ministry, which conducted the trials, three of six blood cancer patients on whom the ayurvedic metal-based formulation was tested have improved.
