Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government would bring Krishna waters to the city in 17 months and thereby fulfill the long cherished dream of the people of twin cities. He asked the Hyderabad metropolitan water supply and sewerage board and contractors to speed up works and complete the first phase by March 2004 so as to bring 45 million gallons of Krishna water per day.
