Scientists in the US have revealed "the strongest link yet" between heart diseases and a bacteria that causes pneumonia. A study, reported in Circulation, the Journal of the American Heart Association, provides new evidence about the relationship between the bacteria Chlamydia pneumoniae and heart disease, although it does not provide actual proof that the bacteria is the cause of the heart disease.
