A novel experiment at the Bakreswar Thermal Power project, where a co-operative comprising land-losers has been formed to execute the project, is paying rich dividends by enabling the project implementors, West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd., to almost glide through the implementation stage with only the minimum worries and almost no major labour strife so far.
