The financial assistance being provided by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(NABARD) to the Himachal Pradesh government has proved a boon to rural folk, particularly people living in far flung and tribal areas of the state. NABARD has launched various schemes in the state during the past four years to strengthen and improve the rural economy to benefit the people there.
