Decks are almost cleared for the setting up of the petroleum refinery at Bathinda. The Planning Commission has given its nod. Only one hitch remains; clearance of the Rajasthan government for the laying of the pipeline from the Gujarat coast to Punjab has to be obtained before the final green signal for the project is formally announced.
