Even as the 650-mw Bawana Phase I project remains mired in controversy, Phase II of the project is all set to take off. The Ballarpur Industries Limited, in collaboration with a US-based company, KLT, has quoted the lowest rates ever for a power project for Delhi.A formal decision regarding handing over the contract to the company is likely to be taken at a Delhi Vidyut Board meeting on Wednesday.
