The West Bengal Government has cleared the 500 MW capacity Balagarh thermal power project to be set up by RPG Enterprises in Hoogly district. The project was sent to the State Government at least three years ago for clearance. CESC Ltd, a RPG group company, has been entrusted the responsibility of executing this project.
