People in the tribal-dominated Purulia district of West Bengal can now boast of a park with solar gadgets like street lamps, solar pump and improved chullah. The Energy Park, inaugurated on Tuesday, would help in generating awareness among people of the district to bank on solar energy for doing their daily chores instead of exploiting fuel wood, officials said.
