The West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL) which is implementing the first phase of the Bakreswar Thermal Power project is confident of achieving a landmark in project implementation by commissioning the first unit within 42 months of the zero date as against the Central Electricity Authority norm of 45 months.
