Two hydroelectric power projects will be set up in north Bengal with a capacity of 232 mw. The West Bengal government has assigned the work of Teesta low dam projects stage III (100 mw) and Teesta low dam HE project stage IV (132 mw) to National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC).
