National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has decided to award Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) the engineering contract for the Rs 3,600 crore Simhadri power project on turnkey basis. A decision on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract was taken at NTPC' board meeting on June 19, highly paced corporation sources said.
