To ensure clean potable water in the upper reaches of the Ganga and its tributaries, Bharat Heavy Electrials Limited has undertaken a scientific monitoring and analysis programme, from Badrinath to Anoopshehar. Based on these studies, BHEL will also suggest remedial measures against contamination of the waters of the Ganga.
