Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) has for the first time undertaken manufacture of state-of-the-art pollution control equipment for agro-fuel based power projects. In the face of stiff competition from Indian and foreign manufactures, the company has recently bagged orders for such pollution control equipment, called electrostatic precipitators(ESPs).
