The Ministry of Power would propose a draft legislation on conservation of energy and throw it open for discussion in the forthcoming Budget Session of the Parliament. This was announced here on Friday by Union Power Minsiter P R Kumaramanglam at a round table on 'corporate approach for energy conservation' organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The Minister said that the aim of the draft bill would be to create an opinion and respect for energy conservation in all sectors.
