Mathar, a small village in Budhni tehsil of Sehore district (Bhopal), has been selected for assessing possibilities of electrification through biomass gasifier-based power plant. The project report, being discussed at the three-day workshop on energy optins for rural communities, estimates that the vilalge of 541 inhabitans can be electrified through biomass technology at a cost of just Rs 66.15 lakh.
