Dutch bird lovers want the government to axe plans to build 200 wind turbines along a northern dam which they say will endanger the lives of thousands of coastal and migratory birds. Vogelbescherming, the Dutch bird protection society, handed in a formal complaint to the environment ministry on Tuesday.
