German Environment Minister Juergen Trittin has dropped a proposed ban on nuclear-waste recycling from draft legislation. The proposed ban drew protests from Paris and London, which warned they would seek compensation if Bonn decided to abandon existing contracts to reprocess spent nuclear fuel in France and Britain.
