Britain's energy minister Peter Hain said on Friday he wants developers of new power stations to consider using environmentally-friendly combined heat and power technology. "I have today published guidance to power station developers requiring them to show that they have seriously explored opportunities for CHP before submitting proposals to the Government for consent," Hain said in a statement.
