The lowering of fund allocation to the AIDS control programme in the Union Budget reflects a "lack of vision" since India has over eight million HIV infected people, according to the Indian Health Organisation(IHO).Criticising the cut in funds, which has hit the National Aids Control Program, IHO Honorary Secretary I S Gilada said the fund had been decreased from Rs 124 crore last year to Rs 111 crore in this financial year.
