Kerala minister for Water Resources N. K. Premachandran said on Saturday that the State Government would deploy additional police reinforcements at the Mullaperiyar Dam site. Inaugurating 'Ham Fest India 2006,' organised by the Quilon Amateur Radio League, the Minister said under the present circumstances, the State Government would not accede to the demand by the Tamil Nadu Government to withdraw Kerala Police personnel from the dam site.
