Bush asked for short-tern energy price relief

California Governor Gray Davis surged President Georgre W Bush on Saturday "to stand up to your friends in the energy industry" by imposing temporary caps on wholesale electricity prices in western states. "Without short-terms price relief, the crisis here in California and the West will spill over and damage the already sluggish national economy", Davis warned in delivering the weekly Democratic radio address.
