CAPART to promote rural technology in J&K

Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) is all geared up to promote rural technology in the rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir. For this purpose, it is training activists from 60 NGOs in a series of three workshops, the first of which is scheduled to be held in Dehradun. Talking to The Pioneer, Director General of CAPART Komal Anand emphasised on their efforts to increase the number of projects and their endeavour to bring NGOs to mainstream in Srinagar. In the last few months, the areas in which training has been imparted has increased from eight to 23.
