The Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) has taken a 25 per cent equity stake in the 156 million pound Kondapalli power project near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Other investors in the giant power project will be the Hyderabad based Lanco group, another British company - Eastern Generation, Korea Heavy Industries and Construction Company, the CDC director, Mr. Robert Mitchell, told PTI.
