The Union government would soon send a team from its Vigilance and Monitoring Cell to Punjab to probe "unsatisfactory" utilisation or suspected diversion of funds allocated for various scheme of the rural development programmes. The Central government would also consider deputing a team of subject experts to study the issue in the State.
