The Union Power Minister, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, today assured the Delhi Chief Minister, Ms. Sheila Dikshit, that the Centre would release an additional 250 MW of power by May 10 to meet the 390 MW shortfall. In a related development, the Delhi Government also clinched a deal with the Chhattisgarh Government for immediate supply of 100 MW.
