The government of India has disagreed with two amendment bills, cleared by Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. The bills have not been returned to Madhya Pradesh government and kept pending. The state government was waiting for the bills so that further action could be taken. The bills are Rural Courts Amendment bill 1997 and Reservation Amendment bill.
