A Rs 12-crore 1 mw project to generate power from cattle/dairy waste on a pilot basis is to be put up at the Haebowal dairy complex in Ludhiana. The Haebowal complex which boasts of 1.5 lakh cattle waste daily which can be used for generating over 10 MW power.
