The Union Environment Ministry has taken strong exception to Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel's clearance to the highly controversial proposal for a sub sea-offshore pipeline through the National Marine Park in the Gulf of Kutch, for the Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd. The Ministry has directed that the pipeline be realigned so that it does not disturb the ecological fragile the Gulf of Kutch.
