As the crucial special meeting of the Union Cabinet is slated this week to approve the draft Tenth Plan document, the Planning Commission has asked the reform-fatigued National Democratic Alliance to brace itself to undertake "a joint effort with the states to attain the Tenth Plan objectives of higher economic growth."
