Several months after making the announcement in Nainital, Prime Minister A B Vajpayee has followed through an industrial 'package' for Uttaranchal, as also for Himachal Pradesh. Although the timing has more to do with the coming elections in Himachal Pradesh, the measures for industrial revival do amount to a substantial incentive for investment in the two states.
