The Community Health and Development (CHAD) department of the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, was one of the 10 recipients of the award given by the South East Asia Regional Office of the World Health Organisation (WHO) for its significant contribution to the development of primary health care in connection with the 50th anniversary of WHO.
