Maharashtra government's recent clearance of a multi-crore liquefied natural gas storage and regasification terminal in Chembur-Trombay has evoked dismay among residents to the area. In an area already so notorious for industrial pollution that it is called the 'gas chamber of Mumbai', locals said the last thing they need was another potentially hazardous project.
