A Chinese firm is to build a 14 megawatt(MW) hydropower plant in West Nepal, officials said on Thursday.They said China Guangxi International Corporation for Techno Economic Cooperation(GITEC), based in Nanning in Guangxi province, would build the Upper Modi hydropower plant for $28 million, the biggest Chinese involvement in Nepal's hydropower sector.
