Chennai-based Aqua Designs has won the "Best Upcoming Water Company 2006-2007" award for outstanding contribution in the field of water in India at the 2006-07 Water Digest Water Awards in New Delhi recently. Aqua Designs Managing Director S. Suthakar received the award, instituted by the magazine Water Digest, from Union Minister of Water Resources Prof. Saif-ud-din Soz. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and CNBC (TV-18) were the co-sponsors of the award.
