The Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore, is providing consultancy service to various organisations on different tree species. According to a communication from the IFGTB, the institute provided effective consultancy to the Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation (APFDC) under a World Bank-aided project. This consultancy enabled the APFDC to produce nearly five lakh ramets of high-yielding clones of eucalyptus.
