The recent claim by scientists, of the Karnal-based National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), that they had successfully cloned buffaloes was both "false and misleading" according to Principal Scientist of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) Biotechnology wing, Dr D K Singh.
