Apart from announcing a package of welfare measures to 1 crore families in the State, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said that his government's stress would be more on welfare and irrigation. The package for one crore families includes 10 lakh new ration cards. Other measures are issue of house-site pattas to 10 lakh families, pucca houses to 5 lakh, new gas connections under Deepam to 10 lakh, sanitary lavatories to 35 lakh, economic benefits to 20 lakh and pensions to 10 lakh families.
