Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit along with her Cabinet ministers will meet Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia to press for fund allocation for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. In view of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the Government was promised Rs 7,000 crore for infrastructure development, but the Government is yet to get its promised share from central funds. According to sources, Ms Dikshit will urge the Planning Commission to increase the city's Annual Plan allocation for 2005-06 as the Government has been spending more funds on infrastructure development.
