CMs rush to PM for funds

With 10 days to go for the Union budget, Prime Minister's Office seems to have become a favourite destination for chief ministers.Using pull, push, pressure and all tricks in the book, revenue-strapped chief ministers are queuing up for some extra cash, a compensation package or a please-all scheme for their states. Some like Andhra Pradesh's Y S Rajashekhar Reddy and Maharashtra's Sushilkumar Shinde have already extracted the share of their pound from the Centre.
