The Delhi government's commitment to converting the city's bus fleet to CNG appears to be restricted only to buses owned by private operators. For tis own fleet, diesel-fuelled buses will suffice. Yesterday, the Delhi government launched the luxurious, urban transport "Sitibus" of the Delhi Transport Corporation. The chief minister, Mrs Sheila Dikshit and her cabinet took legislators for a ride in the diesel powered prototype of the bus.
