Revised PPA makes KEB position stronger: The third power purchase agreement initialled by Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) with the Mangalore Power Company, on November 17, 1997, has been forwarded to the Centre for the issuance of a project counter guarantee. This special investment vehicle, created by Cogentrix Energy Inc of the US, has several changes that make KEB's position stronger.
