FKCCI :Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) President K Lakshman today said Cogentrix Energy Inc., should submit a fresh report on environmental hazards likely to be caused by its proposed 1,000 MW thermal power project at Nandikur in Udupi district. The company should conduct a detailed study and submit a report well in advance to obtain a 'No Objection Certificate'(NOC) from the departments concerned, he said. Cogentrix is awaiting counter-guarantee from the Centre for the project.
