Mr. S.N. Sethi, the Commissioner appointed (by the Supreme Court) to look into the "allegations" of Andhra Pradesh that Karnataka has installed crest gates in the Almatti dam, visited the project site today.Mr. Sethi inspected the dam site, where civil works in the construction of the dam up to a height of 519 m had been completed.He studied the works in progress with reference to the complaint made by Andhra Pradesh in the contempt petition moved against the Karnataka Government.
