Ukraine shares freely its unique, although very bitter; experience gained over the years from the consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophe with the international community. Ukraine also proposes that the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the territory adjacent to it be used as a test ground for international scientific research to work out the technologies for better nuclear safety and elimination of the consequences of catastrophes at the nuclear plants, environment rehabilitation centre, says AP Singh.
