A number of Naga voluntary organisations such as the Naga People's Movement for the Human Rights (NPMHR), the Naga Women's Union, Manipur (NWUM), Zeliangrong Union(ZU) etc., have expressed their opposition to the proposed memorandum of understanding(MoU) to be signed between the Manipur Government and the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation(NEEPCO) for the construction of the proposed Tipaimukh Dam.
