More than 60 companies have suffered collective losses to the tune of Rs 221 crore in their wind farm projects due to the cyclone, which ruined Kandla port in Suarashtra region. Nearly 130 wind mills have been destroyed in cyclonic storm on June 8 and 9. All the companies, who already have wheeling arrangement with GEB against the power generated by their wind mills, are expected to face major crisis on financial as well as power supply front.
