The state of Maharashtra will become a self-sufficient state in terms of power on the commissioning of the Dabhol Power project. It will further be in a position to sell 100 mw of power to the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, according to Maharashtra's deputy chief minister, Gopinath Munde.
