Amid sporadic incidents of violence, arson and utter chaos on the Capital's roads, the Delhi Government and the Supreme Court today appeared heading for a confrontation over the issue of environment-friendly CNG buses with the Chief Minister, Ms. Sheila Dikshit, declaring that her government was ready to "face punishment for contempt of court" but would not allow the citizens to suffer.
